“Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same” ~ Emily Bronte
Chris and Laurie have been friends since they were teenagers. Life definitely took them in different directions. But while Chris was serving in the United States Army their friendship was rekindled and they began communicating more and more, growing their friendship. I love that they have letters from the beginning of their love story! They will both tell you that they became best friends, then fell in love…like Monica and Chandler…perfection! Their wedding was on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon at the Spencer Country Inn.
The grounds and her gown were flawless! Her hair and make up were done by
Vicki Manchester and her team from Hey Good Look’n Salon and Relaxation Center. Gorgeous!
Her details were so lovely! I am in love with these colors!! Her stunning bouquet was created by
Mary Ellen Fairbanks at Cameron & Fairbanks Florist. And I love her something blue!
Laurie’s matron of honor, Valerie, shared a beautiful gift with the bride. They have been friends since their teenage years as well, and
Valerie had a custom necklace created for her that literally mapped out their friendship through the years. So sweet!
The bride and groom did not want to see each other before the ceremony, but did share this sweet intimate moment together….
Laurie’s son walked his mom down the aisle, he took such care with this big responsibility…
“I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine….”
