When I was planning my own wedding I had no idea how many things you needed to figure out. Choosing a date, finding a venue, do they serve food or do you have to find a caterer…how do you choose a caterer? Are there hotels nearby for my guests? It was enough to stress me out! So when I got to photograph a wedding styled shoot at Briar Barn this spring I absolutely fell in love with this location! They take care of everything, including on-property overnight accommodations!
I was so blown away by this charming new barn venue just north of Boston that I asked their sweet coordinator, Kim Crawford, for some more information that I could share with you. Here’s some great info if you’re considering a wedding venue near Boston!
What size weddings can they host? Briar Barn Inn is ideal for weddings expecting between 60-100 guests. They can accommodate up to 76 guests on property! I love this so much because when your guests have been celebrating they can stay as late as they want with you enjoying your ceremony and then their room is literally right there.
What options are available for ceremony locations? Guys, they have three! You can choose to set your ceremony up inside the barn restaurant in the main dining area, outside on the patio or (weather permitting) on a grassy lawn beside the patio area.
What is the starting price for wedding packages and what does that include? Like most venues their pricing varies depending on the season and day, but generally you can expect your wedding package to range between 12-20k including the location, food, equipment, and their planning services!
