Brandi & John | An Intimate Swansea Wedding

Brandi and John have been planning this intimate backyard wedding since before the plague set in. The did have to make some accommodations to deal with Covid-19 but overall I think this was definitely the wedding they had envisioned all along!

They hosted family and close friends at their beautiful backyard wedding in Swansea, MA on the fourth of July! Brandi’s gorgeous bouquet was full of pretty pastel colors and her wedding band belonged to her grandmother!

Brandi’s sister, Rachel, did her hair and makeup!

And Brandi’s mom was so excited to zip her into her gown just in time for the ceremony to begin!

John’s mom pinned his boutonniere and then he joined the New England Brass Quartet to play some pre-ceremony tunes for the guests!

Here comes the bride……

Gah! Look at his face!! He was SO excited to see his bride! 😍

This wouldn’t be a covid-19 wedding without a couple of speakers joining via Zoom!

Always…I mean always include some laughs in your ceremony!

One thing that Brandi and John share is a love for music! They are both music educators and love to perform together, so they definitely wanted to include that into their ceremony! I played trumpet beginning in the fourth grade all the way through high school. My band nerd heart was exploding! 🎺 💜

And then it was time to share their vows.

Please, please share jokes in your vows!! Its’ my favorite!

She wanted to make sure that ring was stuck on there tight! 😂

One last Zoom speaker….

And then they were husband and wife!

We snuck away from the crowd and headed to the Swansea Town Beach, down by the boat docks for some bride and groom portrait time!

When we arrived back at the house we did some family photos, there were toasts shared and catered dinner served. Then it was time to cut the cake !
