Kerrin and Tim planned an intimate backyard summer wedding on their property in Mendon, Massachusetts. They were surrounded by their closest family and friends to celebrate their love!
They originally imagined a pretty different wedding day, but like a lot of 2020 couples, Covid-19 had other plans. So when they found out they were expecting twins they quickly decided that they didn’t want to let Covid control their wedding day! Their property is absolutely beautiful and private…the perfect location for a sweet summer wedding with gorgeous florals, slate blue suits and so many laughs!
Kerrin’s mom, Mary Lee, helped the beautiful bride into her gown. No matter how rushed a day might be, or what else is happening at that moment, putting a veil on your daughter always takes a mom’s breath away!
Kerrin and Tim decided they wanted to share a first look…I absolutely LOVE when couples choose to do this! A first look is definitely a step away from the tradition, but it gives the couple time together to themselves to really be in the moment on their wedding day, without all of their guests around. If you are considering waiting until you see each other down the aisle, then I strongly encourage you to check out this blog post about our biggest regret from our own wedding day!
These two are so freaking sweet together!!
The couple also opted to exchange their own vows, that they had written, in private. The didn’t read these vows during the ceremony, only to each other in this intimate moment together, tucked away on the side of their property! 😭 💜
There were tears and laughs and snuggles! So. Much. Joy!
Their intimate backyard wedding ceremony was held on their back lawn under a huge tree! Kerrin’s brother-in-law, Isaiah, officiated the ceremony for them!
Introducing Mr. and Mrs. McMaster!! 💜 🤵🏻 👰🏻
We did a LOT of family formals at this wedding and we had so much fun! The groomsmen started out with some “regular” portraits…but then each one of the guys picked Tim up. Individually. And then as a group. 🤣
By the time they were picking him up as a group, Tim was reeallly into it! 😂
Beautiful bouquets created by local Mendon florist Katydid Flowers!
I think the couple was a little bit excited when we finished family formals and it was time to sneak away for Bride & Groom portraits!
Look at how sweet they are together!! 😍
And we finished with a quick portrait that was a little more maternity style before we headed over to do a gender reveal for their guests!!!
Tim launched the first popper and….
Then it was Kerrin’s turn to launch the second popper…..
They are expecting two GIRLS!
Kerrin and Tim, I’m so excited for you guys and I cannot wait to watch your family grow!
