This sweet couple went through so many reschedules because of Covid. The actually got married on their original wedding date, back in May of 2020 (aka year of the plague.). But they wanted to save the dress, the venue, and the party for a day when their friends and family could all join them! We finally got to have that day! We waited so long for this day! So it didn’t matter that it was going to rain all day…we were going to celebrate Kristin and Matt! And we got to include their awesome dog, Leia, for some of the day, too! Here are some of my absolute favorites from their rainy day wedding at Avenir in Walpole by Saphire Event Group!
Kristin and her bride tribe got ready at the Hone2Suites in Walpole. They were so relaxed and chill. There was pizza…so much pizza. And Friends was on the tv the entire morning…I love my couples! Kristin’s gown was from Alexandra’s Bridal Boutique in Fall River, MA. Her beautiful florals were created by Flowers and More Design Studio in Walpole, MA. And the team from Salon Serenity did an amazing job with hair and makeup for the day!
Just look at this sweet, awesome pup! Leia was the best Dog of Honor ever!
Kristin and Matt decided easily that they wanted to spend more of their wedding day together! The chose to share a first look so they could see each other much earlier in the day. There are so many reasons to share a first look! If you aren’t sure if it’s the right choice for you….read THIS! These two were SO FREAKING SWEET! Remember they’ve waited years for this! Literally, all three of us were crying! 😭
When I’m setting guys up for the first look moment they always think that they are ready. They know the person they are marrying is beautiful and amazing so they think they know what to expect. They’re never actually ready!
Fucking finally!
The rain let up a little bit for literally less than a minute. We used that 30 seconds for a few quick couple’s portraits outside!
They have been legally married for almost a year and a half but they STILL had the sweetest quick little ceremony! Then onto the party!!
They chose the song “Love Me Like You Never Did” for their first dance! This was the first song they heard together at a concert and it was absolutely perfect for this moment!

All you need is love and donuts! This couple loves to stay fit…but donuts are their favorite cheat day treat! So they decided to skip the cake and just eat donuts on their wedding day! And Rocco’s Doughnut Company did not disappoint!
When it rains on your wedding day….you take full advantage of that and make night magic!
