Arrowhead Acres Wedding | Nancy + Ben

Nancy and Ben planned an intimate, simple, personal day on this beautiful property in Uxbridge for their Arrowhead Acres wedding! With their closest friends and family surrounding them they shared their vows at this sweet Christmas tree farm in this small town. The day was warm, but absolutely perfect weather!

We started the day with their first look. But Nancy had quite a surprise planned for Ben! Ben’s brother, dressed in a white lace gown, actually stepped in first for the first look moment. Ben definitely was not expecting that! And then it was time for the real first look. First look moments are my favorite! If you want to learn more about why first looks are amazing, then read this!

Here are a few of my favorites from Nancy and Ben’s Arrowhead Acres wedding day!

After their first look we got all of their family photos and wedding party photos finished. Then we spent some time making magic in the glowing trees for their couple’s portraits!

There are several spots on the property where couples can hold their ceremony. Nancy and Ben chose this shady gazebo location. They had a sweet, intimate ceremony in the woods. The bride’s grandmothers were her flower girls. I love that! And Ben’s mother shared a reading during their ceremony.

Their reception was held up at the barn. The farm has so many animal friends….I was obsessed with them! They have goats, chickens, donkeys, peacocks, and geese! You can feed the goats right next to the reception barn! I definitely made some friends!

The couple included some really lovely personal touches to their ceremony. Some of them were very untraditional. That’s the best! They had some Star Wars themed details, and some D&D details! And they chose to really make their day about them with their reception events! Instead of a first dance, they chose to play a first game together as husband and wife. Mario Kart. And then they opted for a twist on a bouquet toss. Instead of throwing flowers, they tossed a plush stuffed animal cat. And the idea was that anyone could line up to catch him, not just all the single ladies. The person to catch the stuffed animal would be the next one to get a cat! Such a fun, unique idea!!

At the end of the day we snuck out for a few more glowing portraits!
