It was cold and very windy October day for the last Lighthouse Inn wedding of the year, but Ashley and Derek still had a blast! Their day included their closest friends and family, handmade details, and so much love! Even though it was definitely a blustery day, they got a pretty epic moon that night that made it completely worth it! Just wait until you see their night portraits!
We started the day with the couple getting ready in separate cottages on the property at the Lighthouse Inn. Ashley’s hair and makeup was created by the talented team at Beauty Boston Artistry and they did such a beautiful job! Her bridesmaids wore dresses by Azazie in a stunning eucalyptus color. Meanwhile, Ashley wore a stunning, classic gown designed by Adore by Justin Alexander and it fit her perfectly! She found the gown of her dreams at Alexandra’s Bridal Boutique in Fall River, a favorite spot for a lot of my brides! And these gorgeous invitations came from Zola!
Once the couple was dressed and ready they shared a sweet, private first look on the beach! As soon as Derek saw her he gave her a huge hug! Then he may have tried to immediately carry her away to their honeymoon right then and there! This is why I love a first look, that just doesn’t happen if you wait until you get down the aisle to see each other! After their first look we took all of their wedding day portraits with their families and their wedding party, as well as most of their couple’s portraits. Then they shared a very sweet ceremony on the beach at sunset! After the ceremony everyone headed inside for cocktails and the reception! And we definitely snuck away for some very cool night photos! Congratulations, Ashley and Derek! You guys were the last couple of the season to have a Lighthouse Inn wedding, and my last couple for 2022. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to wrap up this season!
