Chappie and Pete had perfect weather for their springtime Red Lion Inn wedding! This rustic, south shore venue is located in Cohasset, Massachusetts. And it’s perfect for a wedding day with coastal vibes! We photographed their engagement session on the beach at the Scituate Lighthouse. So I was not at all surprised by their beautiful coastal details. They also incorporated navy blues, whites and greens in their color palette for the day. And, of course, Chappie wore her mother’s stunning pearl earrings. The perfect touch!
And this sweet couple had an incredible wedding day team! Chappie’s hair stylist Amanda, from Drift Away Hair Studio created a gorgeous up-do for Chappie’s wedding day look. Chappie chose two gowns for her day. Once was an elegant, classic yet simple ballgown. And her second dress was a sparkling party gown. Both were designed by Jenny Yoo. The maid of honor wore a one shoulder navy gown from Reformation. We can’t forget about Pete and his best man. The guys wore suits from Hickey Freeman, with oyster shell bow ties from NOLA Couture. They chose classic wedding invitations with some nautical inspiration from Zola.

Once they were both dressed it was time for them to share their first look!
And then it was time for their ceremony. The barn was full of friends and family there to celebrate this sweet couple!

After their ceremony, Chappie changed into her second gown. Before joining cocktail hour the couple shared a private first dance in the barn. Private first dances are one of my favorite things! Couples get to reset together after their ceremony. It gives them a chance to celebrate that they just got married and spend some time alone before they join all their guests.
Finally it was time to party!
Obviously their band, Sugar Babies Inc, kept the dance floor on fire!
