Before the dance floor opened, the couple wanted their guests to play a game. They chose an emcee to host this game that was a fun combination of a scavenger hunt and musical chairs! As the emcee was explaining the game he mentioned that he was selected to host and not participate because he is “too competitive” and “people would get hurt.” This game included guests who were specifically selected by the couple to participate. They were each asked to bring their chair onto the dance floor. Next the emcee would announce an item that the contestants had to run into the ballroom of guests to find and race back to their seats, because there would be a chair removed every time they went searching for an item. So, if they didn’t make it back quickly, they would not have a chair to come back to…and they would get kicked out of the game. This is possibly one of the most fun things I have ever seen played at a wedding! Some of the items they were tasked with finding included a napkin, an out of state driver’s license, lipstick, one right shoe, a black tie and…a baby. Obviously this was wild!
