Everyone had an absolute blast at Jessica and Alex’s Barn on the Pemi wedding! The views are stunning and the weather was perfect! To compliment this gorgeous venue, Jessica planned so many beautiful details! And purple wedding colors are my favorite! She even had cones filled with flower petals for her ceremony recessional, and the cones were made of sheet music for the song she came down the aisle to. Every detail so well thought out.

She wore a stunning ballgown from Vows Bridal and a gorgeous cape veil with lace trim! Incredible! The bridesmaids wore plum gowns from David’s Bridal. Jessica’s silky curls were styled by Alex from Jennifer Boss Beauty, and her makeup look was created by Lamoureux Artistry. These beautiful invitations with perfect lavender details were created by Zazzle. And the bouquets were created by Live Bee or Die Farm, located in New Boston, NH.

I knew when I got to hang out with them at their engagement session that this day was going to be so much fun! And I was right! Here are a few of my favorites from Alex and Jessica’s Barn on the Pemi wedding day!

Jessica used to play with her grandmother’s antique mirror when she was a little girl. Obviously, this was a very special detail to include in her wedding day. She also designed these pins with the couple’s grandparents photos! Be right back, I’m not crying, you’re crying.

Jessica shared a couple of first looks before she headed to the Barn on the Pemi for her first look with Alex.

Alex got ready with his brother and his dad in one of the cabins right at the venue. He looked so handsome in his blue suit from Mens Wearhouse!

Finally…time for their ceremony!

Then, the funniest thing I have ever seen during a ceremony happened. You’re probably familiar with people “icing” each other with a Smirnoff Ice. Just in case, it’s a game where people surprise their friends with one of these drinks and then that surprised friends had to chug the vodka-based drink. (I used to drink these in my twenties. Please, nobody ice me now. It wouldn’t go well. LOL.). Anyway, apparently this couple and their friends play this game, but with a twist. Instead of Ices, they hotdog each other. They may get handed a hotdog at any time, literally even if someone happens to be running a marathon at the time. So a wedding ceremony is no different. This ceremony began with Jessica surprising Alex with a hotdog! It was hysterical! Don’t worry, there were also TicTacs in the box. 😉

Their vows were also incredibly funny. Obviously, this was a really fun wedding!

Because they chose to share a first look earlier, the couple was able to spend cocktail hour hanging out with their guests! Then, it was time for the reception to begin.

Wedding party speeches included several references to boy band lyrics, movie quotes, and sports statistics. NBA scheduling team also received a special shoutout.

Finally it was time to sneak out for some sunset portraits with Mr and Mrs Hyman!

After that we headed inside for dancing! They each danced with a parent, then they danced to honor those that are no longer with us. And then it was finally time for the dance floor to open! And they definitely danced The Horah! Their band, Sons of Businessmen, were fantastic!

Jessica and Alex, you two are amazing! Your love for each other is so beautiful! I’m so happy that I go to be part of your wedding team! I miss you, already!
