Newfound Lake Inn Wedding | Katie + Craig

Katie and Craig, self-proclaimed theater nerds, got to be the star of the show on their beautiful Newfound Lake Inn wedding day! I knew this would be a fun-filled day after the evening we spent together at Lynch Park for their engagement session!

The wedding had so many special details! They included their two dogs in several parts of the day, and they were so excited to be there! And they were surrounded by friends, family and their theater family. They incorporated their blue and grey Clark Tartan pattern in several ways, including in Katie’s Princess Merida hairstyle (done by The Beauty Bar, NH), Craig and his side’s kilts from Celtic Crossing in New Hampshire, and their hand fasting ceremony.

Both Katie and Craig, and their wedding party, got ready at the inn. So, that is where the day began. The Beauty Bar handled both hair and makeup for Katie’s side. And Katie found her stunning gown at Head Over Heels Bridal Boutique in Mashpee, MA. The breathtaking bouquet of orchids and roses was created by Classic Flowers in Chelmsford, MA and it was truly incredible!

After getting ready we headed around the lake to Craig’s family’s home right on the water. His aunt and uncle have a gorgeous property where we were able to have Katie share a first look with both her father, and then with Craig. I hope you enjoy some of my favorite photos from their day!

After the first look we headed back to the beautiful yard for some family and wedding party portraits. We started with their sweet pups, Bailey and Nova. Bailey was such a poser! Nova’s excitement, however, could not be contained! 😂

Just look at this huge, gorgeous wedding party! Katie and Craig were surrounded by love…and plaid!

I do love to have the groom’s side sneak up on him during formals. Cara is one of my favorites to work with because she knows this! Craig may have almost jumped out of his kilt!

And then it’s possible we did the same thing to the couple together!

Then it was time for some portraits of just Katie and Craig on this stunning property!

…….and it’s show time! We headed back to the beach across the street from the inn for their bright, beautiful wedding ceremony.

Craig got a little bit emotional during his vows. When he started to choke up he declared that “Katie’s first win in the marriage.” 😂

Then we snuck into the barn at the inn for Katie and Craig to share a private first dance. This was absolutely EPIC! I am obsessed with couples choosing to make their day about them and spending as much of it together as possible!!

Once everyone was seated we kicked off the reception with introductions, special dances and toasts.

Here come Mr. and Mrs. Robertson!
