The weather forecasts this month have been absolutely crazy, but somehow Ashly and Jay had blue skies for their Waverly Oaks wedding! It was a gorgeous day, just like the beautiful weather at their engagement session!

This couple threw such an elegant party! All of the details were so chic! Ashly chose a neutral color palette with whites, shades of champagne, greenery and pops of black.

Creating her invitations was a project Ashly had been dreaming about for so long. In her teen years Ashly worked for a small local shop that sold invitations and she would obsess over them, imagining what hers would look like some day. So when it was time to design hers, she knew exactly what she wanted. Something with Jackie Kennedy vibes. Unfortunately, she couldn’t find an invitations suite that quite fit the vision she had in her head. Thankfully, her mom had a connection to a local print shop, DWRI Letterpress in Providence. Together they made a trip to the letterpress shop and designed gorgeous custom invitations featuring letterpress script and gold foiling. They are stunning!

Ashly rented an AirBnb house in Plymouth for the bride tribe, near a beautiful private beach. The ladies got ready at the house. Kerri, from Kerri Bakalakis Hairstyles, created a beautiful bridal updo for Ashly. While Makeup Artist Eleni created a gorgeous glam look, complete with a smokey eye. The bouquet and elegant florals throughout the venue were created by Cape Cod florist Floral Esthetics. Ashly wore a Moonlight Bridal couture gown from ThistleRose Bridal boutique.

Meanwhile, at a nearby hotel, Jay got ready with the guys. He wore a classic black suit from Mens Wearhouse. Once he was dressed and ready, they guys headed to the private beach for the couple’s first look. I hope you enjoy some of my favorite photos from Ashly and Jay’s Waverly Oaks wedding day!

A string quartet from Golden Scroll Soloist played classical music as guests began to arrive. They also played current pop songs during cocktail hour, Bridgerton style. So fun!

Their elegant details were the perfect touch for the ballroom at Waverly Oaks Golf Club.

Finally it was time to sneak out for some sunset portraits!

After portraits we headed back into the ballroom. The couple cut their delicious Montillios cake. Then they shared special dances with their parents. At last, it was time for the dance floor to ofiicially open! Boston Premier Band was awesome!

At the end of the night we snuck the wedding party outside to pop some champagne! I definitely smelled like I had been “celebrating” a lot on my drive home. Totally worth it! And we finished up with a few couple’s night portraits.
