Searles Castle Wedding | Jackie and Lance

Jackie and Lance had a beautiful fall day for their Searles Castle wedding! Their day featured a recurring D&D theme as well as Rapunzel vibes! From the purple details, to uses of the towers, to their ceremony playing out like a quest, everything was incredible! I knew this day would be epic after all the fun we had at their engagement session!

In keeping with the Disney princess concept, Jackie wore a beautiful ball gown styled dress from Jacqueline’s Bridal boutique in Wellesley, MA. Lance wore a classic, sophisticated, three piece suite from Men’s Wearhouse. And their wedding party dressed in attire from JJ’s House.

And the foliage this week in New Hampshire was absolutely stunning! While we have had a very rainy wedding season this year (almost every weekend), this Thursday wedding rewarded them with some beautiful glowing light! Flower grandmas? Yes, please! This was so sweet!

Jackie and Lance shared a sweet private first dance in the tent during cocktail hour. I love it so much when couples prioritize spending time together on their day. Take every opportunity to connect and center your day around the two of you!

Introducing Mr & Mrs Lavallee-Allen!

When you have a D&D themed wedding you obviously cut your cake with a sword!

Jackie wanted to do something a little more modern than a bouquet toss. Instead the couple climbed up into the tower (in true Rapunzel fashion) to toss stuffed animals to their guests! The guests that caught the stuffed animals were supposed to adopt a rescue pet, or make a donation to a shelter. So Jackie got to live out her best Rapunzel life, and some sweet shelter animals get to benefit. This was perfection!

They finished the evening sharing two private last dances in the main castle hall. The last song they danced to was “Happily Ever After” from the Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom nighttime castle spectacular show. I may have been sobbing in the corner. No, I was definitely sobbing. Such an incredible way to end the evening!
